Role Summary
The Principal Project Manager is the head of the BridgeNet PMO for key client 4PL programs, responsible for work group task
governance and ensuring all project deliverables are completed on time and to standard. This role leads the PMO group,
coordinates across multiple functional work groups, and serves as the primary interface between work group leads and the
Global Program Director. The Principal Project Manager drives structured meeting cadences, action item accountability, issue
escalation, and proactive risk mitigation across the global program. Success requires exceptional organizational skills, deep
project management methodology knowledge, and the ability to lead in a fast-paced, multi-stakeholder environment.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the PMO group, establishing and maintaining the overall project management methodology, tools, and
governance framework across all program workgroups.
Ensure all work group task-level activities are completed to defined objectives and deliverables within agreed
timelines across all program phases.
Work with work group leads to set agendas, lead focused meetings, capture action items, and distribute timely
meeting notes to all relevant stakeholders.
Monitor and follow up with work group team members to ensure committed tasks are completed on time, escalating
risks and delays as appropriate.
Communicate key project status updates from all work groups to the Global Program Director at defined cadences per
the working methodology.
Escalate relevant project issues and risks to SteerCo as appropriate and manage the determination and execution of
resolutions.
Proactively identify and execute mitigation plans for global project plan issues before they impact program milestones
or client commitments.
Maintain the master project plan, RAID log, and key-decision register, ensuring all documentation is current,
accessible, and fit for stakeholder review.
Support onboarding of new program resources, ensuring alignment to project governance standards, communication norms, and delivery expectations. Partner with the Global Program Director on resource planning, workload balancing, and workgroup re-prioritization as program scope evolves.
EDUCATION Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Supply Chain, Business, or related field.
YEARS OF EXPERIENCE 8+ years in project management within logistics, supply chain, or managed services; 4+ years leading complex multi-workgroup programs.
REQUIRED SKILLS & COMPETENCIES
Demonstrated experience as head of a PMO or lead PM on large-scale, multi-geography logistics or supply chain
transformation programs.
Mastery of project management frameworks (PMI, Agile, hybrid) with hands-on proficiency in MS Project, Smartsheet,
or equivalent.
Strong facilitation, communication, and stakeholder management skills across all organizational levels including
executive sponsors.
Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent workstreams with interdependencies, competing priorities, and
geographically distributed teams.
Expert-level RAID log management, escalation governance, and structured issue resolution skills.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
PMP certification or equivalent; Agile/Scrum Master certification a plus.
Experience with 4PL or managed logistics programs for energy, oil and gas, or industrial sector clients.
Experience with supply chain management functions including demand planning, production planning, or material
planning.
Knowledgeable of inventory management principles, WMS systems, and inventory data landscape.
Familiarity with BridgeNet or similar supply chain platform implementation programs.
TRAVEL REQUIRED: Yes up to 20%
