Northrop Grumman Space Systems, Multi-Domain Operations, and Missile Defense Integration Business Unit (BU) has an exciting career opportunity Systems Engineers to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals.

P osition (s) will be inHuntsville, AL.

Position Overview:

The selected Systems Engineer s will support the Ground Weapons System (GWS) program as an individual contributor responsible for providing technical contributions and guidance to systems engineering products that directly support the design and development of the GWS capability on behalf of the Missile Defense Agency (MDA).

Basic Qualifications :

• STEM B.S. Degree (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) discipline from an accredited university.

• Applicants must have a current active in-scope U.S. Government DoD issued Secret security clearance at the time of application which is required to start.

• Experience applying Model Based Systems Engineering to develop and model requirements

• Experience managing requirements or systems engineering artifacts using tools such as DOORS, Cameo, or JIRA.

• Exceptional communication and critical thinking skills, with the ability to clearly articulate technical content to audiences of varying backgrounds.

• Applicants must be able to work on-site in an office environment.

• Ability and willingness to travel up to 10% of the time to support business needs.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience incorporating stakeholder feedback from multiple organizations ( e.g. teams, IPTs, sectors) into actionable solutions.

• Experience taking systems engineering requirements or artifacts through the systems engineering lifecycle

• Experience with requirement verification methods

Primary Level Salary Range: $72,700.00 - $276,100.00

Secondary Level Salary Range: $0.00 - $0.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
