Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 15 years of experience in software engineering, with 8 years in a technical engineering role.
- 10 years of experience in engineering leadership.

As the Engineering Director for the Product Experimentation and Evaluations team, you will lead the transformation of Google's product testing and market impact assessment ecosystem for the AI era. You will develop and implement a strategy that shifts from fragmented, human-led analytics and experimentation platforms toward an integrated, agent-centric ecosystem optimized to rapidly provide trusted market insights. This will involve leveraging AI and agents to streamline experiment configuration, eliminate human toil, and guarantee the integrity of evaluation analysis.
Agentic development dramatically reduces the cost of feature implementation, resulting in market leadership being determined by the speed at which we are able to extract reliable insights from concurrent experiments. This role provides the opportunity to radically transform Googles ability to ship the most impactful products.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $307,000-$427,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Define strategy and lead consolidation of disparate experimentation tools/teams into a single, cohesive platform that delivers on needs of product areas to innovate, experiment, evaluate, and ship at massive scale/speed. Drive rapid execution of the platform strategy, with focus on accelerating product area success in evaluating features in the market and generating trustworthy insights with full agentic execution of the experimentation lifecycle.
- Navigate highly-volatile and fast-evolving product requirements as AI-native capabilities continue to transform both user-facing features and internal developer workflows.
- Manage/build a team with a culture of technical excellence, customer obsession, partnership, and bias-to-action.
- Work with cross-functional leaders to achieve alignment on strategy roadmaps, drive coordinated execution against strategic goals, and ensure success for our customers.
- Optimize roadmap execution and adapt priorities to balance near-term customer needs with long-term strategic outcomes.
