As a Project Manager IV, you will lead large-scale projects using advanced project management tools to ensure successful outcomes. This multifaceted role spans project management, program oversight, and strategic communications, offering opportunities for cross-functional collaboration and in-depth exposure to operational processes.
A caregiver in this position works Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm.
A caregiver who excels in this role will:
- Manage all aspects of and provide a single point of contact for assigned projects.
- Lead/manage multiple medium- to large-size projects, leveraging advanced project management tools to deliver results.
- Accomplish project objectives by planning and evaluating project activities.
- Achieve operational objectives by contributing information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews.
- Prepare and complete action plans.
- Implement production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards.
- Complete audits and identify trends.
- Determine system improvements and implement changes.
- Meet financial objectives by participating in developing forecasting requirements.
- Participate in preparing an annual budget and scheduling expenditures.
- Analyze variances and initiate corrective actions.
- Set and continually manage project expectations with team members and other stakeholders.
Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
- Bachelors degree in business or a related field
- Five years of project management experience in an assigned area, including implementing and supporting a major IT system in a clinical or system analyst capacity and involving complex financial system applications
- Experience creating and maintaining a project plan from inception through completion
- Effective relationship building skills
Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
- Masters degree. This may substitute one year of required experience
- Project Management Professional certification (PMP)
- Experience in Microsoft Office including Publisher
- Experience using Visio
Physical Requirements:
- Manual dexterity to operate office equipment.
- May require periods of sitting, standing and the ability to walk to various locations throughout the health system to attend meetings.
- Must have normal or corrected vision and be able to clearly communicate verbally by phone or in person.
- Must have own transportation to travel to multiple sites.
