Procurement Engineer (HVAC / Mechanical Systems)

We are seeking a Procurement Engineer to support sourcing and supplier stregy for complex HVAC and mechanical systems within mission-critical and federal environments.

This role blends engineering expertise with procurement execution, ensuring technical requirements transle into effective purchasing decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Interpret HVAC/mechanical specificions and align with sourcing stregy
• Lead RFP/RFQ processes and evalue supplier capabilities
• Negotie pricing, delivery timelines, and contract terms
• Partner with engineering and project teams to ensure technical alignment
• Support supplier selection for complex infrastructure projects
• Track cost, performance, and vendor delivery metrics
• Contribute to procurement planning across multiple projects

Qualificions:

• Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering (or similar)
• 35 years of experience in:
• engineering
• procurement
• or a hybrid of both
• Experience with HVAC, MEP, or mechanical systems
• Exposure to vendor coordinion, sourcing, or supplier management

Wh Were Looking For:

• Experience in construction, infrastructure, or federal environments
• Familiarity with RFPs, contract negotiion, and supplier evaluion
• Ability to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance
