This position supports the bridge inspection team by learning technical tasks, documenting structural conditions, and assisting with inspection activities. Within this role, you will also be responsible for recording data, maintaining equipment, and supporting project documentation. As an Engineering Technician, you will perform the following duties:
- Inspection Support: Assist with bridge inspections, structural evaluations, and documentation of conditions
- Data Recording: Collect measurements, sketches, and photographs for inspection reports
- Training Activities: Learn technical procedures related to bridge safety, damage identification, and inspection standards
- Documentation Work: Help prepare reports, complete calculations, and maintain project records
- Equipment Care: Support the upkeep of inspection tools, materials, and related equipment
- Team Coordination: Work with supervisors, inspectors, and other agencies to support project goals
Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full-time employment
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
- Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- An associate degree in surveying, drafting, designing, civil, or any other appropriate field of engineering technology .
- Applicants will be considered to have met the educational requirements once they are within 3 months of graduating with a qualifying degree.
Other Requirements:
- This particular position also requires possession of a valid Class C driver's license.
