Project Manager

We are looking for Project manager to lead high-priority healthcare IT initiatives, working directly under the Chief Information Officer (CIO).

Role Logistics

• Position: Enterprise Project Manager - Consultant
• Location: Columbia, SC
• Work Arrangement: Hybrid (4 days in office, 1 day remote)
• Interview Process: 1-Round, Virtual/Online
• Relocation: Must be a South Carolina resident or willing to relocate prior to starting at your own expense.

Key Skills We Are Looking For

Must-Haves:

• 3+ years of formal Project Management experience.
• Strong background in healthcare insurance IT environments .
• Proven experience in technical project planning , including resource allocation and effort estimation.
• Risk Management expertise (identifying risk triggers and managing them against project tasks).

Highly Preferred:

• Experience with Medicaid or Healthcare Delivery Systems .
• PMP or PMI Certification.

Tools & Soft Skills:

• Proficiency in MS Project, SharePoint, Visio, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• Superb communication skills with the ability to confidently present to executive leadership.
• Strong negotiation skills to unite stakeholders with diverse, competing interests.

Core Responsibilities

• Manage Multiple Projects: Simultaneously lead multiple high-profile, high-priority IT initiatives.
• Go Beyond the Schedule: Embed yourself in the business to understand the core mechanics of the projects, not just the timeline.
• Deliver End-to-End: Build project plans, gather business requirements, manage vendors, and ensure high-quality deliverables.
