Our Client is seeking an experienced Equipment Engineer to join their Thin Films Maintenance team in Hillsboro, Oregon. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a highly advanced semiconductor manufacturing environment supporting critical wafer fabrication equipment and driving equipment reliability, uptime, and continuous improvement initiatives.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

  • Perform preventative and corrective maintenance activities to maximize equipment performance and uptime
  • Develop and maintain equipment specifications, PM procedures, and spare parts programs
  • Lead equipment improvement initiatives and troubleshoot complex system issues down to board level
  • Support equipment installations, startups, relocations, and commissioning activities
  • Analyze equipment schematics and system data to support advanced troubleshooting efforts
  • Track and communicate daily equipment activities through meetings, presentations, and written pass downs

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE:

  • 5+ years of semiconductor equipment maintenance experience, preferably supporting Thin Films equipment
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline (Equivalent military or technical training combined with significant industry experience will also be considered)
  • Strong troubleshooting capabilities with the ability to diagnose complex equipment and system issues
  • Experience working on semiconductor toolsets such as AMAT Centura BPSG, AMAT Ultima HDP, AMAT Endura, Novellus Concept 2 Sequel, AG RTPs, or Tencor Metrology tools
  • Your ability to analyze equipment schematics and perform advanced troubleshooting will help drive equipment reliability and operational success
