Network / System Engineer

Our client, a leading organization in the technology and communications sector, is seeking a Network / System Engineer III to join their team. As a Network / System Engineer III, you will be part of the Network Operations Support team supporting enterprise network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong communication skills, analytical thinking, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.

What's the Job?

• Collaborate with internal teams including architecture, engineering, product management, and business stakeholders to support enterprise network operations.
• Troubleshoot complex networking issues across LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, MPLS, and other network technologies.
• Analyze packet captures and traffic flows using tools like Wireshark and tcpdump to identify and resolve network problems.
• Implement and support network virtualization and automation solutions such as Cisco ACI, Arista fabric, and Cisco DNAC.
• Maintain and optimize wireless networks, VPN tunnels, and security protocols to ensure reliable connectivity and security.

What's Needed?

• Minimum of 8+ years experience in an enterprise network operations support environment.
• Deep understanding of network technologies including routing, switching, TCP/IP, QoS, BGP, OSPF, IPv4/v6, MPLS, and multicast.
• Experience with network virtualization and automation tools such as Cisco ACI, Arista fabric, and Cisco DNAC.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting using packet capture analysis and advanced network monitoring tools like Wireshark, Splunk, and SevOne.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with management, clients, and external vendors.
