What You'll Do Design and develop mechanical components and systems for high-performance computing platforms and specialized trading infrastructure Build detailed CAD models and production drawings for assemblies, enclosures, fixtures, and other mechanical subsystems Conduct engineering analyses, including thermal simulations, structural evaluations, and system-level tradeoff studies Prototype, test, and refine hardware designs through hands-on validation and integration Translate concepts into manufacturable solutions while optimizing for performance, reliability, and serviceability Partner with external vendors and contract manufacturers to support fabrication, assembly, and production Develop tooling, fixtures, and test setups to enhance assembly, testing, and validation processes Assist with prototype builds, system bring-up, and troubleshooting during deployment Collaborate with cross-functional teams (electrical, firmware, and infrastructure) to integrate mechanical designs into complete systems Create and maintain technical documentation, including drawings, specifications, assembly instructions, and test procedures Provide design input to improve manufacturability, scalability, and operational performance What You'll Get Hands-on experience building highly specialized, high-performance hardware with direct business impact A collaborative environment where your work is visible and valued Varied and engaging projects-no two systems are the same Opportunity to work alongside top talent from a diverse, global team Competitive compensation with performance-based bonuses 401(k) with up to 50% employer match Comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, mental health, disability, and life insurance Generous paid time off (25 days) plus market holidays Office perks such as daily meals, snacks, social events, clubs, and sports leagues What You'll Need Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline 3+ years of experience designing mechanical systems using CAD tools (e.g., SolidWorks, Fusion 360) Experience with thermal management and cooling solutions for electronics Proven ability to take designs from concept through prototyping and production Hands-on experience with fabrication and prototyping methods (machining, 3D printing, fixture design, etc.) Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and design for manufacturability (DFM) principles Experience performing engineering analyses such as structural, thermal, or CFD simulations Ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues during prototyping and implement practical solutions Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience producing clear technical documentation Authorization to work in the United States (no sponsorship available) Nice to Have Experience designing hardware for high-performance computing systems, networking equipment, or electronics enclosures Familiarity working with contract manufacturers or external fabrication partners Experience with fiber optics, dense electronic assemblies, or complex electromechanical systems Hands-on experience building or integrating systems such as servers, robotics, drones, or optical platforms Personal interest or experience in building or modifying computers
