Process Improvement - Process Control Engineer - Chemicals / Bio Chemicals
EXPERIENCE: BS Chemical Bio Chemical or Electrical Engineering with 3-7 years experience. They would love someone with Fermentation Experience or from a food process industry but will take someone from the Chemical Process Industry where unit operations are applied. The key will be someone who has examples of process improvements with process controls.

Company is looking for an experienced engineer for our plant in Madison, Wisconsin. The engineer will work as a team member of the engineering and production team at the Madison Plant. In this position, the main target is to increase the safety and productivity of our manufacturing assets and optimize costs of the plant through process and technology improvements. In this role, you will:
  • Site point-person for Overall Equipment Effectiveness ( OEE) software. Providing the maintenance, upkeep, and expansion of the systems TRAKSYS experience a plus
  • Data Analysis for Cost/Benefit projects for priority, and
  • Lead and/or team member supporting projects from inception/planning/cost estimating through Commissioning/Start-up
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The essential role and responsibility for this position include, but are not limited to the following:
    • Program and troubleshoot in systems with the following technology: Rockwell PLC, Inbatch Software, and SAP Enterprise Resource Planning ( ERP) Information System, Historian Software, Wonderware System Platform
    • Participate in Process Safety Management ( PSM) program and contributes to development of program in Madison which includes participation in PHAs ( Process Hazard Analysis) and Management of Change ( MOC) and participates in key Pre-Startup Safety and Operational Readiness Review
Job Qualifications EDUCATION/QUALIFICATION /SKILLS REQUIRED
  • Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Biochemical/Chemical Engineering Electrical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering
  • Process Safety Management knowledge and/or experience
  • Must have strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in team environment with differing backgrounds and experience levels
  • Must demonstrate strong verbal, written, analytical skills as well as have the ability to interact effectively with all levels of employees and management
  • Project organizational skills are required. Proven ability to work within a multi-plant and cross-functional matrix organization is required
  • Experience with scale-up, product transfers, commissioning, Readiness to Operate ( RTO) a plus
