Senior Engineering Technician

The current vacancy is for one full-time position in the Lake County Highway Department in Two Harbors and is eligible for Benefits Package. Open until filled; initial review due April 4, 2025. Applications must be on official forms. Resumes will be accepted, but not in lieu of an application.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Associate's degree in Civil Engineering or related field; 3 years related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience; and a valid Drivers license.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsible for completing non-routine work to support the planning, design, construction, and permitting of County construction projects. Responsibilities may include creating, reviewing, and interpreting plans, maps and engineering calculations; inspecting projects and construction materials; staking; technical writing; and acting as a liaison to the public.
