Engineering Technician

Company Logo Overview Suncoast Post-Tension Ltd, a Keller Company, is an established post tension and rebar manufacturing company that has been in business for over 30 years. We supply construction related materials to builders from one of our eight manufacturing facilities in the US. We are looking for an Engineering technician to review installation plans and field records, joining our team in Pompano Beach, FL. Responsibilities The position requires to use company software to review the design of projects. Responsibilities include review of installation shop drawings, calculations, and provide feedback to our staff. The position also requires the review and analysis of field reports to provide recommendations to design team. Additional tasks include budget estimates, reviewing drawings, and evaluating and compiling information. Qualifications Qualified candidates must have at least 1-2 years of relevant experience and/or an Associates or Bachelors Degree in an Engineering or Construction related discipline. Candidates must be well organized, self-motivated, reliable, detail oriented, and possess excellent interpersonal and customer relations skills. Exceptional computer skills, as well as, written and verbal communication abilities are also necessary.
