We are looking for a talented Manufacturing Engineer - Senior to join our team specializing in Manufacturing in Columbus, IN.

  • Design Tools and Fixtures : Select effective work-piece-holding devices to secure parts during manufacturing processes.

  • Drive Continuous Improvement : Implement process improvement and waste reduction methodologies to reduce costs and improve quality.

  • Design Ergonomic Workspaces : Create or adapt processes and workstations using ergonomic controls to reduce risk and enhance workplace design.

  • Solve Problems Systematically : Use systematic analysis processes to solve problems, mentor others, and implement robust, data-based solutions.

  • Design Efficient Workstations : Ensure operator workstations are safe, healthy, ergonomic, and efficient, considering cost, quality, and delivery.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education, Licenses, Certifications:

  • College, university, or degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) or related field, or equivalent experience required.

  • This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.

Experience:

  • Intermediate level of relevant work experience required.

Additional Information:

Primary focus of this role will be supporting the Cold Test cells at CMEP, with additional Manufacturing Engineering responsibilities within our Post Assembly area of the business. Additional skills/knowledge for the role would include the following :

  • Engine performance understanding

  • Engine diagnostics/troubleshooting

  • Data analysis

  • Engine test cell equipment familiarity

This is a fully ONSITE role.
