Job Title: Mechanical Engineer 3

Position Overview
A leading engineering team is seeking a Mechanical Engineer 3 to support the design and development of drivetrain cast components, including clutch housings, reaction hubs, and motor cooling housings. This role focuses on executing detailed design tasks under the direction of a Senior Engineer, with potential for expanded responsibilities based on performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop concept and detailed part models using Creo CAD software
- Conduct stress and fatigue life analysis
- Evaluate and address part nonconformance risks
- Review PPAP documentation
- Engage in cross-functional product development discussions with suppliers
- Collaborate with quality, operations, and supplier engineering teams
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor s degree in mechanical engineering
- Minimum 5 years of relevant mechanical design experience
Required Technical Skills
- Proficient in Creo
- Solid understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T)
Preferred Technical Skills
- Experience with Creo Simulate (FEA)
- Background in cast steel or iron component design
- Practical, hands-on mechanical experience or strong mechanical aptitude
