Job Title: RF Design Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a talented RF Design Engineer who will develop, problem solve, and debug new and existing RF Power Amplifier designs. The successful candidate will collaborate with Engineering and Manufacturing teams to ensure robust designs and will utilize RF/Microwave design CAD tools for circuit and PCB layouts. The role involves performing design and product evaluations, collecting and analyzing data, and preparing documentation for communication with engineering and manufacturing teams.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and debug RF Power Amplifier designs.
  • Collaborate with Engineering and Manufacturing teams.
  • Design circuit and PCB layouts using RF/Microwave design CAD tools.
  • Perform design/product evaluations.
  • Collect and analyze data.
  • Prepare documentation for communication with engineering and manufacturing teams.
  • Maintain and update all controlled documentation.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Essential Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • 5 plus years of high-power RF experience.
  • Proficient with troubleshooting, problem-solving, development, and integration skills.
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships.
  • Proficient in team environments.
  • Proficient with RF test equipment (network analyzer, power meter, spectrum analyzer, signal generator, and RF components).
  • Proficient with Microsoft applications including Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word.
  • Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning systems.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Knowledge of RF design, amplifiers, analyzers, generators, microwave design, spectrum analyzers, and signal generators.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $70.00/hr.
