The Process Engineer is responsible for driving continuous improvement activities in quality, cycle time, yields, and equipment availability by conducting validations of new and existing processes and equipment, as well as identifying and implementing process improvement using Lean initiatives.

This position reports to the Sr. Process Engineering Mgr. and is part of the process engineering team located in New Brighton, MN, and will be an on-site role.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Validate equipment and processes, as well as conduct data & statistical analysis, and write reports in support of validations.
  • Issuing engineering changes to improve and maintain Work Instructions, Standard Operating Procedures, and other production-related documents.
  • Utilizing DBS tools and lean concepts in improving manufacturability, productivity, flow, yields, cost, variability, and quality.
  • Support other engineers and lead small-scale projects related to material savings, capacity increase, and rolled throughput yield for the different plant value streams.
  • Ensuring that proper safety, attitudes, procedures, and housekeeping are maintained on all work programs.

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (i.e., Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or related field)
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated skills in data collection and statistical analysis methods.
  • Demonstrated skills in technical writing and/or research papers.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • 1+ year work experience in an engineering or research role
  • Statistical Software Knowledge (JMP, SPSS, Minitab, R, State)
  • Experience in an FDA-regulated or ISO Certified industry.

The salary range for this role is $70,000 - $85,000. This is the range that we, in good faith, believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
