Mechanical Design Engineer

Title: Mechanical Project Engineer Location: Near Waukesha, WI Hire Type: Direct Hire Salary: $90k-$100k/yr. Job Duties: Interpret order documentation and customer specifications to determine scope and technical requirements Locate and analyze legacy equipment records and drawings Perform engineering tasks using established methods, including mechanical/structural calculations Design layouts, sub-assemblies, detail, and installation drawings Create comprehensive work instructions to guide field installations Collaborate with internal stakeholders to maintain project schedules and deliverables Support site visits for commissioning and equipment evaluations (up to 100 ft height) Participate in occasional domestic and international travel (approx. 5%) Qualifications: Bachelor of Science in Mechanical or Structural Engineering or related field Professional Engineer (PE) license or eligibility preferred Strong understanding of machine and structural design, welding, and machining Familiarity with CMAA and ASME B30 standards preferred Proficiency in SAP, AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and Microsoft Office Suite Ability to work collaboratively with sales, applications, and project management teams Qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, age, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, protected veteran status, or genetic information.
