Automation and Controls Engineer

On behalf of our client, we are a seeking a Control System Engineer to travel the country and work with various clients. This is an exciting opportunity to join some commissioning projects.

The ideal candidate will have:
- Significant experience with material handling equipment specifically conveyors and sorters.
- Allen Bradley PLCs
- Wonderware or other HMI software
- Extensive experience with I/O validation and system readiness process for a material handling project in a parcel distribution center
- Commitment to safety procedures and protocols

Job Title: Controls Engineer

Location: Mason, OH but extensive traveling required

Pay Range: $32/hr - $35/hr

Whats the Job?

- commissions and tests automated material handling equipment with high-speed sortation, scanning and merging applications
- Planning, execution, and oversight of all controls project elements throughout the project lifecycle.
Takes full ownership of the controls scope, managing budget, schedule, and resources, and applies a systems-level approach to understand and manage core design features, electrical architecture, and project dependencies.
- This includes coordinating and forecasting electrical engineering resources, both in-house and on-site.
