Position Engineering Project Manager

Amphenol High Speed Products Group is the market leader for high speed, highbandwidth electrical connectors for the Telecom/Datacom market (Mobile Networks,Storage, Servers, Routers, Switches, etc.). Our products help to enable theelectronics revolution and remain a key enabler for all the major Tier 1 OEMsglobally. Our global headquarters are in Nashua, NH and we have design, salesand manufacturing locations globally. We are currently seeking an engineeringproject manager to join our team. The engineering project manager position willbe located at our Nashua, NH site.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Work with sponsors, stakeholders, subject matter experts, functional arearesources, and others to develop project scope, schedule, and budget informationPlan, execute, monitor, and control all aspects of multiple projects inparallelCoordinate internal and external project resources, ensuring resourceavailability and allocationDevelop and maintain project plans and trackers at appropriate levels ofabstraction, report project statusUse appropriate methods to manage changes in project scope, schedule, andspendInteract with various levels of management as neededManage sponsor, stakeholder, project team, and management expectationsManage both positive and negative riskPrepare capital appropriations requisitions (CAR) and maintain/track capitalfinance activitiesEstablish and maintain relationships with internal and external suppliersInterface with external customers as appropriateCreate and maintain comprehensive project documentation, using requiredproject artifact infrastructureUnderstand and drive global accountability to ATCS new product introduction(NPI) methodologyUnderstand ATCS products, manufacturing processes, systems, infrastructure,and business models sufficiently to effectively manage related projectsTravel to ATCS facilities, supplier facilities, and other locations asneeded, inside and outside of the US

QUALIFICATIONS:

BA, BS, and/or PMP certification or an equivalent mix of education andexperienceExperience working in a manufacturing environmentStrength in interpersonal communication and relationship development withinternal and external resourcesOrganizational skills including attention to detail, multi-tasking, andrecord keepingWorking knowledge of MS Office, including MS ProjectInitiative, motivation, ability to prioritize, ability to work with limitedsupervisionConfidence in being influential without direct reports in an internationalmatrix organization
