Hydraulic Engineer

A Hydraulic Engineer is needed for a company that transports, distributes and generates energy, with diversified assets that include a balance between crude oil and natural gas in the Houston, TX area. This senior-level Hydraulic Engineer role supports natural gas operations through expert-level modeling of pipelines and compressors, requiring industry-specific experience, proficiency in key software tools, and strong problem-solving and communication skills.

responsibilities:

• Extensive hydraulic modeling experience with natural gas pipelines and compressors.
  
  
• Must have hands-on experience with mainline compression systems.
  
  
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Skills:

• High-level prioritization and organizational skills.
  
  
• Excellent communication and follow-through.
  
  
• Ability to take ownership and resolve issues independently.
  
  
• FlowDesk, NextGen, WinFlow, or Synergi Gas required.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, Petroleum, or Chemical Engineering.
  
  
• 7-10 years of hydraulic modeling experience required.
