We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Engineering Office Manager / Project Manager to lead our Clarkston, Washington office. This is a key leadership role for a licensed professional engineer (8+ years of experience) with a strong background in project management, business development, and team leadership. You will be supported by a regional team of multi-disciplined engineers in our Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Nevada, and Utah offices. Job Summary:

In this role, you will oversee office operations, drive the growth of local services, and manage municipal infrastructure projects from concept through completion. You'll collaborate with a supportive network of multidisciplinary engineers across our regional offices in Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Nevada, and Utah. Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Independently network, develop relationships and projects, manage projects, and grow our services in the market area
  • Responsible for growing the office utilizing current strategy, annual office plans, and goals, may include growing the office backlog, expanding the client base, increasing local service offerings, and/or penetrating new markets
  • Assumes leadership role and responsibility for all facets of office operation and facilities; ensures all office team members have the tools and resources necessary to effectively perform their responsibilities
  • Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment where employees feel valued, supported, and empowered to grow-aligning with our values of being human, diverse, principled, and balanced
  • Participates in the creation and submission of proposals in compliance with marketing standards and practices; maintains outstanding client satisfaction and relationships
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Proven success of growing and leading an engineering team
  • Self-motivated, team-oriented individual with the ability to work on challenging projects in a team environment
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects/tasks
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent project management skills, with success managing budgets and project schedules

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related field
  • Eight or more years of experience increasing levels of project and client responsibilities
  • Professional Engineer licensure in Idaho and Washington, or ability to obtain licensure within six months of hire
  • Experience with business and project development
