RF Field Engineer - Early Career (LA/Riverside)

Overview Position may be based in Riverside area with frequent travel througout the US. The RF Field Engineer will plan and carry out engineering services requested by our customers. These services include benchmark and continuous wave testing, RF Engineering design, commissioning, testing, optimization and consulting services. What Will You Do Communicating with the sales team and end customers to determine project scopes, timelines and deliverables. Plan and carry out engineering services necessary to complete each project scope of work. Operate RF signal generators, spectrum analyzers and RF scanners to evaluate RF statistics and performance. Design DAS and Small Cell networks using industry standard software (IBwave, Atoll, Ekhau, etc.). Apply in office design work and field-testing duties to commercial and public safety projects based on industry technology fundamentals (LTE, 5GNR, P25 and legacy GSM/CDMA/WCDMA technologies). Meet customer deadlines with all project deliverables Manage project costs, including travel costs, to come in under budget on each project Develop ideas for new engineering services, company efficiencies and process improvement. Attend company meetings and functions as requested by management Monitor and report on project statuses to the sales team and management on a regular basis. Travel to customer locations as required; up to 80% travel. What You Will Need Bachelor's degree preferred. Relevant college courses (wireless commumications) with relevant internships or 0-2 years experience DAS commissioning, integration and optimization experience with background working with commercial and public safety DAS. Knowledge of industry software (IBwave, Atoll, Ekhau, etc.) Proficiency in sound engineering logic and RF and telecommunications theory. Experience in core engineering services, design and commissioning/integration data collection; certifications a plus. Must possess Valid driver's license (insurable under company insurance policy).
