Our client, a leader in the technology industry, is seeking a RTL Design Engineer to join their team. As a RTL Design Engineer, you will be part of the design team supporting cutting-edge projects. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a collaborative spirit which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: RTL Design Engineer

Location: Santa Clara, CA (Onsite 3 days per week)

Pay Range: $75-85

What's the Job?

  • Participate in the DFX RTL coding/integration of leading-edge I/O SoC in 3 nm processes.
  • Implement SOC DFT features (TAP controller, GPIOs, ESD structures, etc.) into RTL using Verilog/System Verilog.
  • Responsible for all RTL checks including lint/elab/CDC/RDC with 0-waivers.
  • Engage in SOC level JTAG/IJTAG implementation (RTL/ICL/PDL) and gate-level simulation using Synopsys VCS and Verdi.
  • Contribute to SOC-level SDC development and hand-off to PD, as well as UPF development and hand-off to PD.

What's Needed?

  • A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science; a Master's degree is a plus.
  • Experience with RTL design and verification methodologies.
  • Proficiency in Verilog/System Verilog and familiarity with DFT techniques.
  • Knowledge of SOC-level JTAG/IJTAG implementations.
  • Strong debugging skills and experience with silicon bring-up.
