Key Responsibilities

- Create detailed fabrication and installation drawings based on project scope and specifications.

- Design mechanical equipment and incorporate applicable codes and safety regulations.

- Collaborate with electrical and controls teams to integrate control devices and define equipment operation.

- Coordinate with vendors and subcontractors for component procurement and fabrication.

- Work cross-functionally with internal departments including sales, project management, fabrication, safety, and installation.

- Review and self-check drawings for accuracy and completeness.

Qualifications

- Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Technology, or 5+ years of relevant experience.

- Proficient in AutoCAD and Inventor 2015+ (SolidWorks acceptable as alternative).

- Strong Microsoft Office skills.

- Solid understanding of mechanical mechanisms, machine design, and fabrication processes.

- Ability to design and communicate mechanical systems and integrate with electrical controls.

- Willingness to travel for field measurements, installation support, and quarterly check-ins at the Kansas City office.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $95000.00/yr.
