Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Engineering Technologist to support our design projects. The role involves taking field notes back to the office and designing them using BOUD, a tool similar to MicroStation. You will be responsible for creating bills of materials, preparing project and job packages using Expert Designer and WMIS, including material estimates and material requisitions for distribution electrical designs in 2D.

Responsibilities

  • Take field notes and design them in BOUD.
  • Create bills of materials.
  • Prepare project and job packages using Expert Designer and WMIS.
  • Estimate and requisition materials for electrical designs.
  • Design electrical distribution systems in 2D.
Essential Skills
  • Proficiency in Drafting and Designing.
  • Experience with AutoCAD, MicroStation, and CAD.
  • Knowledge of electrical design and engineering principles.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and self-motivation.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with diverse individuals.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Graduation from a two-year or four-year college or university with a B.S.
  • Understanding of basic engineering theories and principles.
  • Experience in leadership or customer interaction in different industries.
  • Knowledge of BOUD, Smallworld, Bentley, and MicroStation.
  • EIT/ Passed Engineering Fundamentals Exam.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $26.00/hr.
