Overview:
Seeking a talented Electrical Engineer to join our team. As part of this position you will be responsible for designing, testing, and overseeing the implementation of electrical systems and equipment for various industrial electrical projects. You will work closely with project managers, electricians, programmers, technicians and other engineers.
Responsibilities:
Design and develop electrical systems and equipment for industrial automation projects
Review customer requirements and develop design solutions to meet their needs
Create electrical schematics, wiring diagrams and layouts
Specify and select electrical components and equipment such as MCC's, VFD's and PLC's
Oversee the installation and commissioning of electrical systems and equipment
Troubleshoot and diagnose problems with electrical systems and equipment
Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards and regulations Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
Strong knowledge of electrical engineering principles, concepts, and techniques
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Willingness to learn new skills and technologies Benefits (but things that we will teach at A&E as well)
Proficiency in CAD a plus
Familiarity with relevant codes and standards (e.g., NEC, UL, ETL, etc.)
