Our Lead Tel Engineer designs advanced telmunication system schematics to support projects in our Venue sector, prepares design documents and performs engineering calculations in coordination with project teams and multiple disciplines. They train, mentor and provide leadership to tel design staff which may include directly supervising others.

Key Responsibilities:

Assisting in developing overall telmunication system schematics to support projects in our Venue Sector

Assisting in the development of overall technology system design, layouts, details, rack elevations and schematics under the direction of a senior designer/engineer

Preparing drawings of system layout, details, rack elevations and signal flow diagrams

Proactively seeks opportunities for continuous learning and understanding of industry software, including Revit, Bluebeam Revu, and Microsoft Office Products.

Producing low voltage system drawings and specifications suitable for bidding by qualified contractors

Performing necessary calculations and be involved in job site visits, construction observations and/or attend client meetings

Working with architects, clients, contractors and project managers to create a successful oue

Managing multiple projects/tasks simultaneously

Required Qualifications:

Have at least 3-5+ years of telmunications design experience

Are proficient in Revit (must) and AutoCAD (this is a plus)

Bachelor's degree in relevant field of engineering (ie: mechanical, electrical, fire protection or architectural) and 11 years of relevant experience, or 13 years of experience without degree required.

High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required

Have fiber optic and copper structured cabling system design experience

Have clear oral and writtenmunication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

Have an active CTS-D or RCDD certification

Are able to travel up to 15% and are able to walk through very large job/building sites

Salary ranges:

New York Salary Range: $112,263 - $168,395

Los Angeles Salary Range: $106,742 - $160,113

Denver Salary Range: $101,221 - $151,832

Philadelphia Salary Range: $101,221 - $151,832

Las Vegas Salary Range: $96,620 - $144,930
