We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Manager who is responsible for leading and overseeing all aspects of project execution from initiation through completion. This includes developing detailed project plans, managing resources, maintaining budgets and schedules, and ensuring that deliverables meet contractual and stakeholder requirements. The ideal candidate brings deep project management expertise, strong communication skills, and a proactive approach to risk management and continuous improvement.
Primary Responsibilities :
- Develop comprehensive project plans that define scope, schedule, resource needs, budget, risk mitigation, and communication strategies.
- Lead cross-functional project teams and ensure alignment across technical, operational, and client-facing roles.
- Monitor and track progress using project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Smartsheet, Asana).
- Manage and report on project budgets, timelines, milestones, and contractual deliverables.
- Act as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, including senior leadership, clients, and end users.
- Deliver project status reports and updates, including analysis of key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Identify risks and issues throughout the project lifecycle and develop effective mitigation and contingency plans.
- Ensure all project activities comply with organizational policies, industry best practices, and applicable regulations.
- Conduct post-project evaluations, lessons learned sessions, and contribute to organizational knowledge and continuous improvement efforts.
Basic Qualifications
- TS/SCI w/ Poly Clearance is required
- Bachelors degree in Business, Management, Engineering, or related field and 812 years of experience or additional years of experience in lieu of degree OR a Masters degree with 610 years experience in program or project management or additional years of experience in lieu of degree
- Demonstrated experience in program management, including managing multiple projects across functional domains.
- Strong proficiency in project planning, resource management, risk management, and budget oversight.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and interface with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
- Experience overseeing program implementation, tracking progress toward goals, and managing within scope, schedule, and budget.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for reporting, proposal writing, and stakeholder engagement.
- Ability to manage program evaluations and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.
- Working knowledge of change management strategies and techniques.
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong skills in project and program evaluations, measuring outcomes, and identifying areas for continuous improvement.
- Experience interfacing with clients, subcontractors, and vendors to manage deliverables and ensure alignment.
- Proficiency with tools such as Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, Jira, or other program management platforms.
- Familiarity with federal contracting environments and relevant frameworks (e.g., FAR, DFARS) is a plus.
- Knowledge of change management practices and stakeholder engagement strategies.
- Certifications such as PMP, PgMP, Agile, or Lean Six Sigma are beneficial but not required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including experience preparing proposals, reports, and briefings for leadership.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor junior team members, delegate tasks effectively, and influence project teams.
