Mechanical Design Engineer

Summary: Seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to design welding and assembly positioners, jigs, and fixtures.

Requirements:

• Associates or Bachelor's degree in related field
• 2-3 years of experience in mechanical design
• Proficiency in Creo software (version5.0 or newer)

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Windchill or other PDM systems
• Pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical design experience

Responsibilities:

• Design welding and assembly positioners along with related jigs and fixtures
• Study specifications, engineering blueprints, tool orders, and shop data
• Resolve design problems related to material characteristics, dimensional tolerances, service requirements, manufacturing procedures, and cost
• Draw preliminary sketches and prepare layout and detail drawings

Pay Details: $29.00 to $39.00 per hour
