What You'll Do:
Review design specs from Sales and Applications teams for feasibility and manufacturability.
Recreate customer geometry in SolidWorks using hand sketches, 2D drawings, or 3D files.
Design heating element layouts with a focus on efficiency and manufacturability.
Generate shop drawings, BOMs, BOOs, and labels for production.
Assist Sales and Application Engineering with specs and customer inquiries.
Partner with manufacturing and testing to troubleshoot and validate designs.
Run SolidWorks simulations; utilize Ansys for testing and optimization.
What You Bring:
Solid knowledge of heat transfer and electrical principles
Blueprint and wiring schematic reading skills
SolidWorks and Ansys experiencenon-negotiable
Proficiency in MS Office suite
Preferred:
B.S. in Mechanical Engineering
3+ years' design experience
Strong communication, problem-solving, and follow-through
Familiarity with manufacturing documentation and wiring schematics
