1. About the Role (Job Summary)

Are you passionate about optimizing operations and driving efficiency? Join McKesson Medical-Surgical as an Industrial Engineer and be a key player in enhancing our distribution centers nationwide. You'll be instrumental in validating labor standards, mastering JDA (Blue Yonder) labor management systems, and promoting our iWIN incentive program. Collaborate with Principal Engineers and lead the charge in creating a culture of lean, waste-minimizing operations. 2. What You'll Do (Responsibilities)

Partner with DC operations leadership to enhance safety, quality, productivity, and efficiency.

Conduct time studies and performance analysis, delivering actionable reports and recommendations.

Implement continuous improvement initiatives with a focus on return-on-investment.

Identify and resolve operational bottlenecks through comprehensive analysis and solution development.

Maintain and update DC layout accuracy using AutoCAD.

Assess and maintain ELS accuracy within the MMS network.

Train front-line operations leadership and associates on Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Utilize BI Dashboards to identify and address performance gaps.

Develop warehouse mapping and configure LMS for precise travel accuracy.

Audit compliance with SOPs/WIs at distribution centers and support cross-functional projects like Accelerated Supply Chain Execution (ASCE).

Monitor and provide feedback on LMS performance to DC leadership.

Develop new productivity tracking reports using Power BI.

Other duties may be assigned as needed to meet company goals.

Minimum Requirements

4-year engineering degree from an accredited university or college with 1-2 years' work experience OR 4+ years' experience in DC Distribution Operations or Corporate Distribution Operations

3. What We're Looking For (Requirements)

Bachelor's degree in Engineering and/or equivalent experience.

Typically requires 4+ years of relevant experience.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to engage at all organizational levels.

High proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Initiative-driven and responsive to internal customer needs.

Capacity to adapt and thrive in transformational change environments.

Experience in distribution or supply chain operations

Proficiency in AutoCAD, UMTPlus, Blue Yonder (JDA), and SQL.

Ability to travel 25-50% is required

4. Specialized Knowledge & Skills

Strong problem-solving skills with a knack for innovative solutions.

Ability to work effectively in team and cross-functional settings.

Detail-oriented with the ability to balance onsite and remote work.

MOST Certification is preferred but not required.
