**A Day in the Life of an Associate Project Manager at Hanson**
Heres a snapshot of what you would do in this role:
+ Driveproject success by managing client relationships, developing project scopes, and providing strategic vision from project inception to execution.
+ Oversee engineering excellence through roadway, civil sitework, stormwater management, and utility design projects while ensuring compliance with regulations.
+ Collaborate with design staff, contribute to recruitment and retention, and drive performance improvements.
+ Engage in business development, prepare proposals, and participate in marketing activities to expand our project base.
+ Conduct thorough Quality Assurance and Quality Control reviews, and manage construction assistance and administration duties.

**Skills:**
+ Proven ability to successfully collaborate with cohesive project teams across diverse projects.
+ Strong relationship-building skills with clients and internal stakeholders.
+ Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to various stakeholders.
+ Self-motivation, problem-solving capabilities, and eagerness to learn and mentor.
+ Excellent organizational skills with a proactive approach to meeting deadlines.
+ Strong command of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Teams.
**Education/Experience:**
+ Bachelors degree in civil engineering (advanced degree is a plus).
+ Minimum 8 years of combined experience in transportation, site design, and project management in the AEC industry.
+ Active Professional Engineer (PE) license in the state of IL or the ability to obtain one within the first 6 months of hire.
+ Experience in transportation and/or municipal engineering preferred. State DOT experience is a plus.
The salary range for this position is: $110,000 $150,000. This position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. The salary offered to a candidate is based on years of relevant experience.
