Summary Job Description Job Description Roles and Responsibilities: Perform Electrical, Mechanical, and Hydraulic repairs Program PLC's, VFD's, and Micro-controllers Investigate and propose repair alternatives Maintain library of equipment specifications and facility drawings Provide technical expertise to Maintenance technicians Ensure compliance with EHS safety standards with special focus on equipment safety Interact with Technicians and Engineers to resolve equipment deficiencies Leverage from existing similar equipment and past histories Develop, Plan, and Perform initial equipment inspections Responsible for advanced rigging and proof testing of lift equipment Electrical and Mechanical Troubleshooting Perform PM and CM of all hoist and crane equipment Prepare appropriation requests for machine tools and other equipment upgrades Reduce downtime by improving reliability and maintainability of equipment Reduce cost by improving / shortening overhaul procedures Drive implementation of TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) initiatives Provide training for the Maximo PM database, supporting software, and procedures Monitor PM backlogs to ensure timely completion Monitor and enhance Maximo procedures to ensure comprehensive PM coverage Standardize maintenance programs, procedures, and processes across PDD maintenance groups Exploration and development of New Technological Maintenance Applications Required Skills Associate's Degree or High School Diploma / GED from an accredited school or institution Desired Characteristics Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and effectively Ability to perform in a self-directed team environment Humble: respectful, receptive, agile, eager to learn Transparent: shares critical information, speaks with candor, contributes constructively Focused: quick learner, strategically prioritizes work, committed Leadership ability: strong communicator, decision-maker, collaborative Problem solver: analytical-minded, challenges existing processes, critical thinker Meets TS2002 Requirements Meets TS2003 Requirements Experience working with and troubleshooting 480V electrical equipment Strong working knowledge IBM Maximo Experience in maintenance & reliability best practices, root cause analysis, criticality analysis and lifecycle management Proven ability to deliver maintenance effectiveness or experience in driving large scale improvement programs within a maintenance organization Proactively engage with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and design solutions using critical thinking and analytical skills and best practices Highly motivated, self-starter with demonstrated relationship management skills and strong emotional intelligence (EQ) Excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to interface with senior leadership with confidence and clarity Strong written and verbal presentation and facilitation skills, including experience in value proposition formulation and proposal development Strong skills in the use of software business tools (e.g. project management software, spreadsheets, reporting packages, word processing and presentation software Shift Hours.
