Summary: Seeking an Electrical Engineer to provide expertise in power generation utilities, focusing on electrical power distribution engineering analysis for nuclear power plants.
Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from ABET accredited school
8-10+ years of experience in electrical design engineering
Proven track record in electrical design and analysis for nuclear plants
Strong knowledge of generating station power upgrades and system protection
In-depth knowledge of codes and standards for nuclear and conventional plants
Experience with project management and multi-disciplinary team coordination
Familiarity with engineering change control processes and QA programs
Good working knowledge of nuclear power plant design/operation
Responsibilities:
Conduct electrical power distribution engineering analysis for new/existing nuclear plants
Perform condition assessments of transformers, breakers, switch gears, motors, etc.
Develop life cycle plans including inspection/test programs
Perform engineering design following established procedures
Interface with construction/procurement partners throughout project lifecycle
Provide field support for design modifications
Conduct technical assessments and troubleshooting for new build projects
Pay Details: $40.00 to $60.00 per hour
