Mechanical Project Manager

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Mechanical Project Manager to oversee various project assignments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering superior project management services while fostering positive client relationships and promoting continuous improvement within the team.

Responsibilities

  • Manage projects assigned by the Operations Manager or Director, ensuring timely and successful delivery.
  • Maintain proactive communication with clients and project team members, ensuring all stakeholders are informed and engaged.
  • Implement continuous improvement objectives and embrace technology enhancements.
  • Adhere to Corporate Environmental, Health, and Safety Policies and Best-Practices.
  • Ensure compliance with Corporate Standards in financial and administrative responsibilities.
  • Provide project finance management, handling contract changes and claim resolution for out-of-scope services.
  • Assist with proposal development and presentation requirements as needed.
  • Monitor market influences and support competitive solicitation requirements.
  • Assist with distribution of contract bid documents and ensure competitive bidding efforts.
  • Review bid documents for trade contractor scopes and pricing breakdown structures.
  • Maintain project estimate document control as per Corporate Standard Operating Practices.
  • Evaluate client/project specific concerns affecting productivity, scheduling, or staffing levels.
  • Participate in peer reviews to provide insights and confirmations for project proposals.
  • Ensure quality control compliance with all project specifications and technical requirements.
  • Coordinate project close-out, start-up, and training according to best practice standards.
  • Participate in lessons learned sessions and operational development initiatives.
  • Maintain willingness to pursue continuing education and professional development.
Essential Skills
  • 10+ years of mechanical experience in new build projects.
  • Experience managing projects independently with budgets ranging from 10 to 30 million.
  • Proficient in Procore and Bluebeam software.
  • OSHA 10 Certification.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Hands-on experience and licensure.
  • Experience working as a self-performer.
  • OSHA 30 Certification.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $130000.00 - $160000.00/yr.
