Our client, a leader in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a Controls Engineer to join their team. As a Controls Engineer, you will be part of the Machining Operations department supporting a collaborative team of skilled trades and engineers. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, effective communication abilities, and a commitment to teamwork, which will align successfully in the organization.

What's the Job?
- Troubleshoot, modify, and support hardware and software for PLC, CNC, HMI, and Robot controls.
- Implement and support machining monitoring systems with an emphasis on interfacing to higher-level systems.
- Apply controls technology to new and existing processes to provide optimal machining solutions.
- Provide controls technical assistance and support to machining operations.
- Support a collaborative team in diagnosing and repairing CNC and Assembly Machining Operations.
What's Needed?
- BS degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, or related field, or 8 years of functional working experience in lieu of a degree.
- Proficient in manufacturing equipment hardware and software design practices & standards (i.e., PLCs, HMIs, servo systems, robotics, vision systems).
- Effective oral and written communication skills, and interpersonal skills to work effectively with others.
- Ability to read, interpret, and create technical drawings.
- Proficient with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
