Become a part of our team as a Mechanical Engineer and contribute to the design and support of the Otis Gen3 product! In this crucial role, you'll help maintain product integrity, explore design opportunities, and integrate new component designs into existing systems, all while ensuring we meet our cost and schedule commitments.

Your typical responsibilities will include sheet metal design, designing for installation and manufacturing, and the implementation and testing of a variety of elevator components. We're looking for someone with a solid mechanical engineering background, experience in change management, and the ability to thrive in a cross-functional team environment.

On a typical day you will:

• Sheet metal design

• Design for installation and manufacturing

• Implement and test of a wide range of elevator components

What you will need to be successful:

• BS Degree in mechanical engineering degree with 5+ years experience or master's degree with 2+ years experience

• Sound mechanical engineering background (mechanical and system modeling and design, component modeling and design)

• Creo / Pro Engineer experience

• Sheet metal design experience

• Experience with Microsoft office, particularly with Project and Excel.

• Hands-on testing experience

• Strong communications and leadership ability

• Elevator field experience preferred but not required

• Elevator systems knowledge preferred but not required
