This position will be located in Appleton, WI with requirements to travel up to 30% of the time. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop mechanical components and system concepts that satisfy business and compliance needs/demands.
- Ability to read, review and create P&IDs, PFDs, layout drawings and piping fabrication isometric drawings using various AutoCAD products such as AutoCAD, AutoCAD MEP and AutoCAD Plant 3D.
- Ability to model/assemble parts/components in 3D using various AutoCAD products such as Inventor, Revit and AutoCAD Plant 3D.
- Provide selection and specifications of tanks, valves, pumps and other mechanical equipment.
- Apply necessary NFPA, API and ASME standards to ensure design compliance in the project permitting stage to final inspections.
- Perform calculations
- Participate in design reviews for projects to ensure quality design output.
- Complete all as-built updates to drawings upon completion of projects.
- Maintain the drawing database and vault to ensure a consolidated record of all projects is kept.
- Confer with engineering management and project engineers on problems encountered and questions arising on projects.
- Other duties as assigned.

Required:
- A minimum of a bachelors degree in mechanical engineering or mechanical engineering technology is required for this position
- Suggested minimum of 1-3 years experience as a mechanical engineer or related position
- Valid drivers license with acceptable driving record
- Ability to travel up to 30%
- Successfully pass a pre-employment drug test (do not test for THC / marijuana)
