Micro Motion, Inc. is seeking an Engineer IV for its offices in Boulder, CO

Job Description:

Lead the process and technical team for the creation and release of custom Engineered to Order (ETO) solutions for Ultrasonic Flow Meter products. Coordinate the design, procurement, manufacture, and delivery of products with unique specifications in the process control industry. Lead and coordinate the work of the Ultrasonic ETO team, including engineers and technicians. Function as the point of contact for escalating all Ultrasonic Flow Meter Engineering inquiries regarding the status of any Ultrasonic Flow Meter Product quotations or sales orders. Plan, schedule, and coordinate Ultrasonic Flow Meter engineering projects involving more than one discipline which require independent evaluations of critical issues in terms of both resources and design criteria. Ensure design has been validated via calculations, numerical analysis and testing, to meet design criteria and industry standards; and has been documented for approvals, manufacturing and customer facing data. Mentor and coach less experienced engineers and technicians on the art of Ultrasonic Flow Meter Engineering. Part-time telecommuting permitted. Travel domestically and internationally up to 5% of the time.

Job Requirements:

A Bachelors degree or the foreign equivalent in Engineering, plus 10 years of progressively responsible experience in process flow measurement and instrumentation engineering.

The required experience must include:

• 5 years of experience mentoring engineers and technicians;
• 10 years of experience working within the process control industry;
• 10 years of experience designing ultrasonic flow meters and applications;
• 10 years of experience working with parametric CAD software; and
• 10 years of experience with mechanical product design and engineering change control.
• Domestic and International travel required up to 5% of the time.
