Controls Engineer

Location: Menomonee Falls, WI

Skills: industrial electrical systems, low/high voltage, Studio 5000, FactoryTalk, HMI development, PanelView, Servo Motion, Stepper systems, electrical troubleshooting, PLC programming

Experience level: Mid-Level (5-8 yrs exp.)

Role Opportunities

• Work with sales and customers to develop solutions for custom equipment for paint/fluid/adhesive applications
• Assist with the design and development of industrial paint process equipment
• Panel layouts, component selection, etc.
• Servo Motion, VFD, Stepper Motion
• Studio 5000 / Factory Talk (required), Fanuc integration, Siemens, Codesys
• Document project electrical schematics using 2D CAD and SolidWorks Electrical
• Electrical troubleshooting
• Panel building and mechanical assembly, if needed
• Onsite commissioning of systems

Successful Candidates Should Have the Following Skills & Experience

• Associate or bachelor s degree in an engineering field
• 3+ years of experience troubleshooting electrical systems
• 3+ years of experience with low voltage and high voltage 3-phase systems
• Ability to read and modify electrical prints using AutoCAD
• Willingness and ability to travel up to 25%
• Experience in PLC programming (LD, ST) with Allen Bradley
• Understanding of industrial network infrastructures including Ethernet and DeviceNet
• HMI development using PanelView
