Advance NYCs Infrastructure with a Growing Engineering Firm

Our client, a rapidly expanding civil engineering firm with a strong presence in New York City, is seeking Civil Design Engineers and a Senior Civil Engineer (QA/QC) to support major infrastructure initiatives in partnership with the Port Authority. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to high-profile projects across airports, roadways, and utility systems.

You will join a collaborative team focused on airside, site/roadway, and utility/stormwater design. From conceptual planning through final design, your work will help rehabilitate and modernize critical infrastructure systems while ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

• Lead and support the design of utility and stormwater systems from concept through permitting and final delivery
• Rehabilitate and upgrade water, sewer, and stormwater infrastructure
• Ensure all designs comply with applicable codes, standards, and client specifications
• Prepare engineering studies, technical reports, specifications, and cost estimates

• Proficiency in Civil 3D and AutoCAD
• Minimum 4 years of experience in civil design, including bridge, roadway/highway, and street projects
• Background in transportation, aviation, and site civil design
• Ability to manage technical aspects of aviation and roadway infrastructure projects

• EIT certification (preferred)
• Experience with NYC DDC and DOT projects
• Expertise in land development, grading, drainage, stormwater, and site planning

• Collaborate directly with the Port Authority on transformative infrastructure projects including airports, bus terminals, bridges, tunnels, and ports
• Work up to two days per week at the Port Authoritys downtown Manhattan office

The pay range for this position is $85000.00 - $170000.00/yr.
