Job Description
Now Hiring: Commercial Construction Project Manager
Our client is a family-owned commercial construction company built on trust, craftsmanship, and real relationships.
They deliver complex projects with a personal approach and direct communication. It’s a small, focused team that sets high standards and backs them up with genuine support. Once you’re in, you’re part of something tight-knit and reliable.
About the Role
Our client is looking for a Commercial Construction Project Manager who will take full ownership of the job — from estimating and scheduling to closeout and financial tracking. This is not a paper-pusher position. It's a hands-on, fast-moving, decision-making role for someone who takes pride in precision and thrives on momentum.
For the right person, there's real opportunity to grow into a leadership role as the team expands.
What You’ll Own
Manage projects from start to finish with full accountability for cost, schedule, and quality
Perform in-house digital takeoffs and prepare bid proposals using Bluebeam
Create project schedules in Microsoft Project (Primavera is a bonus)
Coordinate daily with superintendents, subcontractors, architects, and clients
Lead jobsite and vendor meetings, and oversee RFIs, change orders, and submittals
Draft and manage all project documents: subcontracts, purchase orders, change orders, pay apps
Maintain file structure and task tracking in Procore, Google Drive, and Trello
Forecast and manage budgets for $10M+ in annual construction revenue
Stay on top of procurement, quality control, punch lists, and closeout activities
Track project performance and ensure profitability stays on target
What You Bring
At least 8 years of experience as a Commercial Project Manager
Experience managing annual project volumes over $10M
Fluency with Procore, Bluebeam, Google Drive, Excel, Word, and Microsoft Project
Clear, professional, and timely communication style
Strong organizational skills with a bias for action
A mindset of accountability, ownership, and pride in the details
Why Work With Our Client
You’ll work directly with decision-makers — no corporate layers
High standards, strong process, and a culture that values craftsmanship
True investment in team growth and leadership development
A company that shows up, supports each other, and does the work right
