In this Role, you will be responsible for:Leading the planning, design, and development of products within the structures groupPerforming finite element analysis using Hyperworks or similar toolCreating engineering drawings using SolidworksReviewing Engineering Change RequestsCreating Engineering Change OrdersWriting test procedures and test reports using Microsoft Office toolsSupporting and leading productivity initativesSupporting cost proposalsOngoing self-development and personal growth as an employeeOther duties as assigned. What you'll Need to Succeed:Bachelor's degree in mechanical, Aerospace, or Civil Engineering, MS/Ph.D. preferred.2+ years of relevant on-the-job engineering experience, developing products through entire lifecycle highly preferredExperience with Finite Element Analysis using Ansys or Hyperworks requiredExperience with configuration and document control preferredCAD modeling and drafting experience, Solidworks preferredProject management, Earned Value Management experience preferredExperience with ERP systems preferredExperience with International Trade Compliance and markings preferredExperience interfacing with customers and suppliers preferredOther Skills/Knowledge You Should Bring to the Table:Knowledge and experience in a professional business environmentExcellent written and spoken communication skillsOutstanding interpersonal relationship skillsWillingness to be hands-on, on the floor, interacting with the Production teamExcellent computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environmentProficient in Altair Hyperworks or similar FEA toolStrong focus and attention to detailTime management and organizational skills; ability to prioritize and multi-task in a complex business environmentExcellent problem solving and decision-making skillsStrong focus on customer serviceAbility to quickly master new business knowledge and technical skillsMust be authorized to work in the U.S. This position requires either a US Person (as defined in applicable export regulations) or a non-US person who is eligible to obtain required export authorization The target wage/salary range for this role may be within $90,000 - $120,000/year, depending on education and experience.
