Senior Electrical Engineer Job Type: Hybrid Direct Hire Location: Houston, TX Salary Range: 120,000-180,000 with potential negotiation based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision and more Interview Process: 1 Virtual/1 onsite Key Responsibilities Conduct detailed AC/DC power studies using ETAP Design and review electrical systems including power distribution, lighting, communications, and security Prepare engineering calculations, specifications, and equipment procurement documents Support vendor bid evaluations and RFIs Collaborate with internal design teams and external partners across disciplines Participate in design reviews and site visits for construction coordination Job Overview: Experience: 4-20+ years in electrical engineering for power, industrial, or nuclear facilities Education: B.S. in Electrical Engineering is preferred Certifications: PE preferred, or EIT working toward PE licensure Preferred Background: Experience with nuclear design/maintenance is ideal but not required relevant industrial or power plant experience also acceptable Qualifications: Proficiency with electrical system design (LV/MV, relays, motors, transformers) Familiarity with ETAP or similar tools (short circuit, arc-flash, load flow, etc.) Strong communication, analytical, and cross-functional collaboration abilities Ability to obtain security clearance Interview Process Virtual interview (Microsoft Teams) Final onsite interview To read our Candidate Privacy Information Statement, which explains how we will use your information, please visit .
