What You'll Be Doing

As a Senior Delivery Engineer, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful delivery of capital maintenance projects. Reporting to the Storage Points Delivery Manager, you'll:

  • Lead end-to-end project delivery, from prioritisation to execution.

  • Represent operational risks and drive value-focused outcomes.

  • Ensure compliance with technical standards, CDM regulations, and health & safety.

  • Manage and mentor a team of Project Engineers.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the business and with external partners.

  • Oversee regional maintenance programmes and ensure accurate reporting.

  • Champion a proactive safety culture and conduct high-level site audits.

What We're Looking For

Essential:

  • Extensive experience in water supply processes and capital project delivery.
  • Strong contract and budget management skills.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and leadership capabilities.
  • High-level cost, risk analysis, and programme control expertise.
  • A-Level education or equivalent (degree in engineering or related field desirable).
  • Recognised professional engineering qualification (highly desirable).
  • Advanced health & safety qualification (minimum IOSH level).
  • Full UK driving licence.

Desirable:

  • Degree in engineering or related field.

  • Chartered Engineer status.

  • Experience working with regulators and framework partners.
