Position Overview:

The Project Manager is responsible for supervising land development and vertical construction operations across multiple projects. This position provides in-house and field support and collaborates with leadership, vendors, consultants, and field teams to ensure effective project execution within set timelines and budgets.

Candidates should have at least 5 years of experience in residential construction and or land development, proficiency in Excel, and the ability to manage budgets, schedules, reporting, and cross-team coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and monitor land development projects from pre-construction through infrastructure delivery
  • Manage construction operations for multiple vertical projects, offering daily assistance to field teams
  • Utilize Excel to create and update reports related to job costing, forecasting, schedule tracking, and project performance
  • Track development budgets, schedules, change orders, and approvals
  • Serve as a point of contact for engineers, municipalities, utility companies, and contractors to facilitate timely achievement of development milestones
  • Produce accurate reports for leadership and ownership
  • Support permitting, inspections, and compliance documentation
  • Provide administrative and logistical assistance to superintendents and project executives
  • Assist with procurement, resource allocation, and subcontractor coordination

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in land development, construction project management, or operations
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, formulas, conditional formatting, etc.)
  • Knowledge of residential construction processes, infrastructure delivery, and site development timelines
  • Strong communication and coordination skills with internal teams and external partners
  • Ability to work independently while managing several projects concurrently
  • Attention to detail with organizational and time-management abilities

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with construction or development management platforms (such as Procore, Buildertrend, MS Project)
  • Experience working with permitting agencies, civil engineers, and utility providers
  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field, or 5 years' experience in the field
