Identify and quantify overpressure scenarios, relief rate requirements, and evaluating relief systems capacities. Verify the adequacy of relief/flare system design and calculation. Remain abreast of changes in regulatory bodies (API, ASME, 29 CFR 1910.119, etc.). Generate and confirm process design bases. Audit PSM programs, identify deficiencies and possible resolutions. Support clients in their understanding and management of the 14 elements of Process Safety Management. Perform detailed review of pressure relief system documentation created by other Process Engineers/Safety Consultants in the company. Work under supervision of engineering manager and supervisor.

Education Required: Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering
