Your Impact

As a Project Manager, you will play a critical role in setting project teams up for long-term success by owning the operational foundation of every customer implementation. From the moment a project is initiated, you'll ensure the right tools are in place, timelines are aligned, and all stakeholders are informed and prepared.

Through your work, you will empower Project Managers, Business Analysts, and Engineering partners to focus on execution-ensuring that every engagement begins with clarity, structure, and momentum. Your contributions will directly impact our ability to deliver on time, exceed customer expectations, and advance public safety outcomes.

What You'll Do

Location: Location: This role is based out of one of our hub locations (Scottsdale AZ, Atlanta GA, Denver CO, Boston MA, Seattle WA, Washington DC, San Francisco CA) and follows a hybrid schedule. We rely on in-person collaboration and ask that team members work onsite Tuesdays through Fridays, with the flexibility to work remotely on Mondays, unless there is an approved workplace accommodation. Reports to: Manager, Implementation Services

  • Drive new agency onboarding from Sales handoff through project readiness.
  • Own implementation setup across both Standards and Notes product lines.
  • Create and manage agency artifacts including Smartsheets, SharePoint sites, training environments, and D365 project entries.
  • Manage Standards and Notes queue - demos, discovery meetings, data gathering
  • Submit and track engineering tickets for environment setups
  • Ensure accurate system configuration through feature flag management and environment standards.
  • Lead the project intake process, ensuring complete and accurate data across internal systems.
  • Act as the initial point of contact for internal teams and agency stakeholders.
  • Coordinate kickoffs, team introductions, and discovery scheduling to ensure strong project starts.
  • Partner with Engineering and Professional Services to monitor environment setup and technical dependencies.
  • Keep documentation up to date across all internal systems, trackers, and dashboards.
  • Post deployment handoff and coordination
  • Compile stats for Standards - Go live, estimates, MCR counts

What You Bring

  • 5+ years of experience in program coordination, project management, or implementation support roles.
  • Proven ability to juggle multiple deadlines, systems, and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills; able to translate complex workflows into clear next steps.
  • Operational mindset with extreme attention to detail and documentation.
  • Experience using project and collaboration tools such as SmartSheet, Jira, SharePoint, Salesforce, and Microsoft Teams.
  • Familiarity with government, law enforcement, or regulated industry environments is a plus.
  • Must pass a Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) background check and maintain confidentiality with sensitive data.

The Pay: Axon is a total compensation company, meaning compensation is made up of base pay, bonus, and stock awards. The starting base pay for this role is between USD 85,425 in the lowest geographic market and USD 136,680 in the highest geographic market. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as: level, function, training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, geographic market, and often a combination of all these factors.
