Your Impact
In this pivotal role, you will drive the structural design and engineering solutions that keep cutting-edge aircraft mission-ready. Working onplex Special Missions and Aftermarket modifications, your expertise will directly shape aircraft performance, safety, and mission capability.
Key Responsibilities
Investigate design-build challenges and engineer structural and instrumentation installation solutions
Author and implement timely temporary engineering resolutions
Disposition aircraft non-conformances with precise rework instructions (MRB)
Collaborate across engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to resolve design and build issues
Design and coordinate Flight Test engineering change requests
Develop structural special instructions or restrictions
Design and release Special Missions Engineering structural and systems installations
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in MechanicalAeronautical Engineering (or related) from an accredited institution
15+ years' industry experience with a strong record in Special Missions or Aftermarket modifications (required)
6,000+ hours CATIA V5 (Assembly Design, Part Design, Aerospace Sheetmetal, Tubing Design, Kinematics, Electrical Harness Routing a plus)
Recent, proven expertise with 2D drawings (required)
Experience with munitions integrations (asset)
Siemens NX and Teamcenter PLM familiarity (plus)
Strong technicalmunication and problem-solving skills
Highly motivated self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, project-driven environment

This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) andor Export Administration Regulations (EAR). Pay Details: $116.57 per hour
